About Michelle Corbier

Though born in Illinois, as a military dependent, Michelle moved between San Diego, California and Charleston, South Carolina. She enrolled at the University of California Santa Cruz before attending Michigan State University to complete a pediatric residency program. After over twenty years in clinical medicine, Michelle now works as a medical consultant. As a member of Crime Writers of Color, Sisters in Crime Capitol Crimes, Authors Guild, ALLi, and Science Fiction Writers of America, her writing interests cover many genres—mystery, paranormal, and thrillers.
The first book in the Write Club Mysteries series, Murder Is Revealing received the Pen Craft Award for cozy mystery.
The third book in the Write Club Mysteries series, Murder Between Neighbors, received the Judges’ Top Picks honor for 2025 outstanding stories and left them wanting more.
The Independent Author Network awarded Murder Between Neighbors a finalist in the 2025 cozy mystery category.
I won my first short story award in the mystery category for The Riddle Inheritance. A copy of the story will be printed in the Next Generation Short Story Anthology. Order a copy and enjoy it along with other award-winning short stories.
