Myaisha's curiosity and true crime writer's brain win out and she begins to investigate the murder. Who knew that living on a cu-lde-sac had such deadly potential?
This is Book 3 of the series. Now I need to go back and read the first two books. The characters are engaging and the writing is delightful.

The first two books in the Write Club Mystery series are now available on Kindle. Catch up on the escapades of the Greensboro Women of Color Writing Group before reading the third book Murder Between Neighbors
Aspiring author Dr. Myaisha Douglas joined the Greensboro Women of Color Writing Group hoping to publish her writing, and never expecting to play amateur sleuth in a real-life murder mystery.
When someone murders a friend and member of the group, Myaisha believes she can help the police solve the crime. An avid mystery fan, she relies on the skills she gained from those stories to catch the killer.
Though determined to get justice for her friend, the amateur detective soon regrets her involvement when the deceased’s corruption and illegal dealings become public. The police warn Myaisha to stop investigating when their prime suspect is also murdered.
Drawn back into the case after the police charge another member of the group with murder, Myaisha uses her medical knowledge—and years as an armchair detective—to solve the homicide without becoming another victim.
When she’s not busy practicing medicine, Dr. Myaisha Douglas writes mysteries. She’d like to devote more time to her personal relationships, but murder intervenes. The twin sister of a Greensboro Women of Color Writing Group member dies suddenly. Myaisha suspects murder. Her writing group investigates the homicide, hoping to publish a true crime story.
But the investigation becomes deadly when Myaisha uncovers an important secret behind a necklace. While juggling a romantic affair, she pursues the case. With the police prepared to arrest her friend, Myaisha enlists the help of the Greensboro Women of Color Writing Group to solve the crime before a third murder occurs.
Murder In Gemini is the second book in the Write Club Mysteries. This book follows Dr. Myaisha Douglas and the Greensboro Women of Color Writing Group in trying to solve the murder of a member’s twin sister.
Murder Is Revealing is the second book in the Write Club Mystery series. The setup with the murder of a twin and the mystery that unspools from it were compelling and well done. Michelle Corbier’s writing style works well with the genre and she writes unique, engaging characters. I enjoyed getting to know the Greensboro Women of Color Writing Group better, and Dr. Myaisha makes for an original and fun main character with her penchant to act as an armchair detective. The secrets revealed and turns of the plot keep one deliciously invested and guessing until the end.
I loved Murder Is Revealing and thoroughly enjoyed Dr. Myaisha Douglas as a main character. It found it a well written and strong addition to the cozy mystery genre. International Review of Books
